Measuring 205 x 265 mm, this album contains 48 sepia photographs, each measuring 145 x 90 mm, two to a page, together with 22 loose prints of France and North Africa. The album prints have brief captions, and since they relate to Algiers, Biskra and a few of Tunis and Carthage, they may come from the same visit as Y304H.

An album, labelled on the spine, containing prints of various sizes. The numbering is sequenced from 1 to 131, but 101 is omitted. 14 of these prints are loose (118-131) , and are kept in a separate envelope in the album. Some of the prints are good quality professional work. Some of the photographs are captioned in ink; in other cases the titles have been derived from duplicate copies in Davies' other Indian album or from other photographs of the same scenes.

Mary Ward photographs of West Africa
A collection of loose prints by various photographers. All relate to the life and career of Mary Alexandria Ward, MBE, RRC (1866-1965). Most of the captions are from information supplied by Dr Rachel Elliott; those in brackets are descriptive captions prepared by the Librarian.

A scrapbook album containing prints relating to Bell's Governorship of Mauritius from his return from leave in 1919 to his final departure in 1924. There are also some scenes in east Africa and Britain during his 1919 leave and some of a visit to Ceylon (now known as Sri Lanka) in 1921.
