Scope and Contents First day cover of four stamps commemorating the bicentenary of the Armagh Planetarium, postmarked Armagh. The stamps were designed by Jeff Fisher and show: ‘Armagh Observatory, Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope and La Palma Telescope’ (22p), ‘Newton's Moon and Tides Diagram with Early Telescopes’ (26p), ‘Greenwich Old Observatory and Early Astronomical Equipment’ (31p), and ‘Stonehenge, Gyroscope and Navigating by Stars’ (37p).
