Scope and Contents 81 glass slides in two wooden boxes, marked in hand on the outside 'Slides for talk on Asia Minor'. Includes index to (most of) the slides on three sheets. One box contained numbered slides and a corresponding indexed list, including additional slides which appears to correspond with some slides in the second (unnumbered) box. Some of these are similar or identical to plates in the published 1933 volume relating to the expeditions. Where possible, titles are those from the handwritten...

Papers from a volume titled 'Chronology', concerned mainly with ancient eclipses. The correspondents include P.A. Hansen, J.R. Hind, J.W. Bosanquet, H. Malden, R.I. Murchison, W.R. Hamilton, J.C. Adams, W.H. Smyth, F. Beaufort and C. Hansteen. There are two maps of Asia Minor and of Tunis, and two Admiralty Charts of the coast of Tunis and the Gulf of Kabes.

Calder and Guthrie (front right), and one of Guthrie as a young man, possibly with his parents. Includes photographs of the Acropolis and ?Delphi, Granada, signed 'WKCG Granada 1933', and several published photographs showing various sarcophagi and buildings, including La Porte doree aux Sept-Tours and Entrée principale de Sainte Sophie.
