They were for a time erroneously described as Spanish, and were considered of no interest till their identification by H. Bradshaw, M.A., Fellow of King's, in 1862. See his full description of them in the Communications to the Cambridge Antiquarian Society, vol. 2, pp. 203-218, reprinted in Dr Todd's Books of the Vaudois (1865), pp. 210-223.
