The rest of the collection consists of a volume of cuttings relating to post-war trading opportunities in Nigeria and three scrapbooks concerning rubber and mining in South East Asia.
Newscuttings on East Africa
Newscuttings on Southern and East Africa
Four volumes of newscuttings, three relating to Southern and East Africa and one to the Native Question in South Africa, and loose cuttings on related subjects. Many of the articles concern the activities of the colonial powers in Africa, notably Great Britain, Germany, Spain and France.

Photographs of the East African Campaign 1915-16
Collection of twenty-nine 60 x 60 mm modern copy negatives (no prints) selected from an album compiled by J.H. Furniss R.A.F (also the photographer). The material relates to air and naval activity against the German battleship ‘Konigsberg’ in Zanzibar and German East Africa during 1915-16, with other general scenes from the German East Africa Campaign. Copy negatives made by John Falconer, May 1985.

Rogers Collection on East Africa
This collection of photographs relates to Roger's career on the East African mainland and in Zanzibar. Hardly any of the photographs are captioned, but there are some cuttings from the Zanzibar Gazette inserted and from these and from the Gazette itself it has been possible to identify a large number of the subjects with reasonable certainty. Some photographs are by A.C. Gomes and J.B. Coutinho; others are possibly by Rogers himself.
'Senex Africanus'
A carbon copy of a typescript of Sinclair's reminiscences of his time in England, Kenya, Zanzibar and Tangier, 177 pages. Although there is a list of photographs, the illustrated copy of the memoir is believed to be lost.
'Setting up in Njombe'
This is an account by Norman Cuthbert, illustrated with colour photographs, of his colleagues and working life in the laboratory and factory, and of his wider experiences of the people and geography of Njombe.
Shaw collection on Tanganyika [i.e. Tanzania]
Collection of loose sepia photographs, all but one measuring 212 x 132 mm. The photographs were formerly the property of, and may have been taken by, John Verrinder Shaw, the brother of Professor Thurstan Shaw, and relate to road construction, probably in Morogoro in the 1940s. Though they do not show the same portion of road, numbers 3-10 all depict the same type of road, made by cutting away part of a slope and levelling a wide enough area for limited traffic. There are no captions.
Sir Jayantilal Keshavji Chande Collection
This collection includes copies of 29 speeches given by Chande between 1961 and 2009 on the subjects of business, community service, the environment, Freemasonry, politics and tourism, and copies of his autobiography and collected works:

‘Transitions of a life: collected works by JK Chande’ (2011)
South and East Africa, 1880s
Tanganyika [Tanzania] photographs 1950s
Collection of loose photographs of various sizes, some with captions on the reverse. The photographs were given to H.P. Britten in c. 1960 by the Superintendent of the Photograph Division of the Government Public Relations Department. Although only one is stamped 'Official photograph' it is likely that they were all officially taken.
