Handwritten notes and papers connected with meetings of the Labour Common Market Safeguards Committee (LCMSC) [later Labour Euro Safeguards Campaign], attended by Spearing along with politicians including Douglas Jay, Peter Shore, Enoch Powell, Bryan Gould, Neil Marten, and various others. With an agenda for a meeting of the Common Market Study Group, 4 August 1975, and notes on political strategy; voting in European elections; and Britain's future relationship with Europe. Also including photocopies of two newspaper articles on Spearing's stance on Europe dating from 1971.
