The Afterword, 2019-02-27 - 2019-03-25
Scope and Contents
The interviews contained in the 'Afterword' are testimony to a chaotic time in Westminster. During this time, Sones captured eight more recordings about Brexit, Theresa May's Withdrawal Bill and the Brexit deadline extension. Sones was particularly focused on how Brexit had clouded the work that MPs do on other pressing issues such as knife crime, food insecurity and housing. Sones, alongside Jackie Ashley were able to secure interviews with two MPs from the newly formed Independent Group and with Rachel Reeves MP on the publication of her new book about 'The Women of Westminster'.
