Cuttings and correspondence on a dinner given to mark the centenary of Churchill's birth, including CS's speech on Churchill, notes by Sir John Colville and Anthony Montague Browne [former Private Secretaries to Churchill], notes on the guestlist by MS, correspondence with Sir Peter Ramsbotham, British Ambassador to the United States, who was hosting the dinner, Sir John Colville and Ronald Scrivener [Assistant Under-Secretary of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office] on the loan of a Churchill painting for exhibition at Washington, and also cuttings on Richard Burton's hatred of Churchill, while playing him in the television drama "The Gathering Storm".
