Includes: letters from Sir Piers Legh [Equerry to King George VI] inviting the Churchills to stay at Windsor Castle [Berkshire], Apr 1948, with a list of other guests and a letter of thanks from CSC; telegram of thanks from CSC to Princess Juliana of the Netherlands; letter to CSC from King Haakon of Norway on their recent visit to Oslo; correspondence with Queen Mary's ladies-in-waiting; telegrams with Queen Elizabeth on her birthday. Also includes copies of letters to CSC from Horatia Seymour and Lady Violet Bonham Carter [earlier Lady Violet Asquith, later Lady Asquith of Yarnbury] on being cut off on a broadcast and Winston Churchill's leadership in European affairs.
