Mainly copies of letters from Montgomery to CSC, on subjects including: CSC's account of a picnic in the Atlas Mountains with Montgomery while staying at Marrakech [Morocco]; MS's ATS [Auxiliary Territorial Service] battery and having Winston Churchill with Montgomery during the Battle of the Rhine; the importance of Churchill's health (1952); thanks for the Churchills' hospitality on various occasions; Montgomery's health (1954); Suez and Hungary, 1956; Montgomery's concerns about Sir Arthur Bryant's edition of 1st Lord Alanbrooke's diaries, "The Turn of the Tide"; Churchill's health (1958); MS's holiday in Scotland and disapproval of Montgomery repeating a private conversation with Churchill to the press (1962); Churchill's and CSC's health (1963); Montgomery having his prostate removed.
