Mainly copies of correspondence between Sarah Oliver [earlier Sarah Churchill, later Sarah Beauchamp and Sarah, Lady Audley] and CSC on subjects including: Sarah's attendance at the Yalta Conference with Winston Churchill; security considerations in their correspondence; Sarah's divorce from Vic Oliver; CSC's visit to the Soviet Union; Sarah's improved relationship with her and Churchill; Sarah's view of the General Election campaign and why she thought people would vote for the Labour Party; Sarah's stay with Churchill at Lake Como [Italy], Sept 1945; CSC's weariness after the war; Churchill's painting.
Also includes: copies of letters from Diana Sandys [earlier Diana Churchill and Diana Bailey] to CSC and Winston Churchill on subjects including Christmas 1944; letters from MS to Sarah on her experiences in Belgium with her ATS unit [Auxiliary Territorial Service]; copies of press cuttings on Sarah's divorce.
