Subjects include: specifications for a submarine light cruiser or commerce destroyer, and for a submersible battleship; defences and berths on the river Humber; British and German shipbuilding programmes up to 1912 and numbers required to maintain 60 per cent superiority; battleship designs; plans for launching torpedoes directly ahead on HMS Inflexible [? 1881]; heavy oil machinery for quadruple screw battleships; Fisher's plans for HMS Incomparable; the proposed extension of Chatham dockyard [Kent]; plans for the cruiser HMS Furious; tables of oversea submarines; oil fuel experiments, including reports from the Admiralty Oil Committee and the Royal Commission on Fuel and Engines, 1913.
