Letters written while Lady Diana and Duff Cooper were on a lecture tour of the United States, on subjects including: crossing the Atlantic; the World's Fair, New York; efforts to repeal the Neutrality Act; meeting Franklin Roosevelt, President of the United States; the rigours of the lecture tour; visiting Hollywood. Also includes an earlier letter on the death of Lady Diana's mother, Violet, Duchess of Rutland.
