Scope and Contents
Manuscript and typescript copy of JA's diary of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association tour of Central Africa, Mauritius and Malta, particularly Tanganyika [later Tanzania], Rhodesia [later Zambia and Zimbabwe], Kenya, Mauritius and Malta. Includes notes of a talk with Lieutenant-General Sir Arthur Dowler, General Officer Commanding East Africa Command, on the use of African troops and notes on attitudes to Central African Federation.
