Scope and Contents
Working papers on adolescents and young people, covering subjects such as the teenage market, clothing, leisure and youth club membership, crime and deviance, employment, girls and young housewives, sex and marriage, and the 'generation gap'. Consists largely of press cuttings, articles, and survey data, with Mark Abrams's annotations and notes. Including drafts of Mark Abrams's articles "Britain's Youth" (1955), "The New Consumer" (1958), "Advertising and the Teenage Market" (1959), and "The Teenager" (n.d.).
