Working papers on religion, covering subjects such as church attendance; public morality; Sunday Schools; the relationship between leisure and religion; the decline of Methodism and Nonconformity and the increase of Roman Catholicism; the impact of Billy Graham and US-style evangelicalism in Britain; and preaching. Consists largely of press cuttings and articles, with published Research Services Ltd. report 'Religious Programmes on Independent Television' (July 1961). Also includes copy of BBC booklet 'Hearing, Seeing, Believing: A Review of Religious Broadcasting in the BBC' (n.d., c. 1959).
