Immediate Source of Acquisition

These materials had been gathered together for the 1996 exhibition on the original architectural competition for Churchill College. It was recovered from the attic of 70 Storey's Way by Dr Mark Goldie and Barry Phipps in October 2006. Some of the materials were used in the October 2007 exhibition "Thinking through architecture: The Churchill College competition" (staged by Barry Phipps) and allied book by Mark Goldie "Corbusier comes to Cambridge: post-war architecture and the competition to build Churchill College" (2007). The material was formally added to the College archive in October 2007 after the exhibition closed.
