Letters, papers and press cuttings relating to FR’s mother Gertrude Roberts, including: her correspondence with 1st Lord Leverhulme [earlier William Lever] about her worries about the teaching at the London School of Economics, 1918; paper written by Gertrude on the Lever Brothers Limited business in Argentina; essays written by Gertrude; cuttings on women's rights and a pamphlet by Gertrude, "Patrol of the Clergy" on the Church's opinion of women, 1915; cutting of Gertude's engagement photograph; tribute by Gertrude to Lord Leverhulme; papers and group photograph relating to the Lever Brothers business in Argentina and the inauguration of the Buenos Aires factory, 1928.
