The collection held at Churchill Archives Centre comprises Roberts's personal papers and includes: many press photographs, press cuttings and some correspondence relating to Roberts's diplomatic career and postings to Bonn and Moscow; material relating to international organisations (NATO, the British Atlantic Committee and the Atlantic Treaty Association); annotated proofs and texts and photographs for Roberts's book "Dealing with Dictators" (published in 1991); early correspondence between Roberts and his parents and some later personal correspondence; family photographs; and articles and papers by Roberts looking back on his career.
