General correspondence on subjects including: Israeli practices in the Palestinian Occupied Territories; invitations and requests for help; statements on the Middle East by the British Council of Churches; the inclusion of parents' birth place in the 1971 Census, queried by Ruth Glass, Director of the Centre for Urban Studies, University College London; a disability allowance for the blind; Questions raised by AFB in the House of Lords [Hansards enclosed] on a note from the Soviet Union urging progress towards a peaceful solution in the Middle East and equal opportunities for non-white school leavers, February 1970; assistance for young Africans studying in Britain (listed by Richard Wood, Minister of Overseas Development [later Lord Holderness]; raising a Question on relief to Nigeria (with a letter from Lord Hunt advising AFB against raising it).
