Lectures and notes on subjects including: the duties, ships and operations of the Navy; India, c 1920; naval history; torpedo development (including letters and notes from Bernard Haigh [Professor of Applied Mechanics, Royal Naval College, Greenwich] and Engineer-Captain Francis Haigh [Superintendent, Royal Naval Torpedo Factory, Greenock],1927); Davis's reflections on China and Japan, 1934-35; the situation in Germany, Oct-Dec 1933.
Also includes a letter and poems from Davis's wife Lady Elizabeth Davis.
