Scope and Contents

The Royal Commission on Awards to Inventors was established in 1946 to renumerate inventors whose inventions, designs, drawings, or processes were used by the Navy, Army, Air Force, Ministry of Supply, and other Government Departments during the Second World War. Porteous and his colleagues Edward Axbey, Humphrey Nelson and Peter Fairbairn submitted 3 claims.
