Mainly correspondence between HL and Rachel Lauterpacht with Elihu Lauterpacht, on subjects including: Elihu's life at school; a holiday in the Lake District; arrangements for Elihu's return to Britain; the entrance scholarship for Trinity College [University of Cambridge]; HL's ["An International Bill of the Rights of Man"] being sent to the United States, work on his draft report on post-war international organisation, an article on Recognition, restarting work on ["Recognition in International Law"] and his new Cambridge Series, jointly edited with Harold Gutteridge, on International and Comparative Law; Rachel's work on the Refugee Children's Committee; a visit from the American lawyer Amos Peaslee.
