Arrangement
Sir Elihu Lauterpacht arranged his father's correspondence by year, adding in both copies and original letters and other papers which he had collected as source material for his biography of HL. Before 1923, the files on HL's early family life were found to be almost entirely material collected by Elihu from various sources, so these have been put in the biographical section, LAUT 7; after that date, following his move to Britain, HL's own correspondence takes over.
