Correspondents include: Arnold McNair on subjects including HL being made a Reader [in Public International Law, at the University of London], HL's dedicating "The Function of Law in the International Community" to him, work on the Annual Digest and an opinion on Jews in the Saar (5); HL, writing to Elihu Lauterpacht.
Also includes a contemporary review of HL's "The Function of Law" and modern notes added by Sir Elihu Lauterpacht on "The Function of Law" and on an article by HL on "The Persecution of the Jews in Germany".
