Correspondents concerning the publication of the memoirs of Sir Anthony Eden [later 1st Lord Avon] include: Anthony Moir of Fladgate and Company [WSC's solicitor] concerning financial matters connected with WSC's papers (3); Denis Kelly regarding correspondence between WSC and Eden; Alan Hodge forwarding sections of the book (7); Anthony Eden on his progress with the book, relations with France and requests regarding facts (7).Also includes copies of minutes and letters from Eden to WSC 1951-52 on subjects including: disarmament; foreign policy; affairs in various countries and relations with foreign powers including or concerning Germany, Persia [later Iran], Egypt, China, the Soviet Union, the United States and the Falkland Islands; the international oil industry and the Suez Canal; NATO; Europe and the European defence community; the Cold War; war criminals; the use of the napalm bomb in Korea; Josip Tito; the Duke of Windsor [earlier Edward Prince of Wales and Edward VIII]; and Konrad Adenauer.Also includes copies of letters from WSC to Eden and notes and copies of correspondence from Anthony Montague Browne [Private Secretary to WSC].
