Series of minutes [from F A Lindemann, later 1st Lord Cherwell, Prime Minister's Personal Assistant] (Great George Street [London]) to WSC on: 1. supplies of mustard, "B.B.C.", phosgene, and "D.C." gases, referring to "D.C.(S) (41) 69"; 2. dispersing ships by sending them to East coast ports; 3. possible imports in 1941 and the import forecast for April to August, referring to "I.E. (41) 72" and "I.E. (41) 70"; 4. encouraging the working of night shifts; 5. fitting ships with permanent "D.G." equipment, referring to "B.A. (41) 48"; 6. economies in government demands for textiles.
