Letter from B C Sendall [Private Secretary] (Ministry of Information, Malet Street, WC1 [London]) to John Martin [Prime Minister's Principal Private Secretary] giving details of the recent visit to Britain by Walter Lippman with conclusion, underlined in blue pencil, that Lippman spent less than three days in London at a time when neither the Prime Minister nor the Foreign Secretary were available.
