Scope and Contents
Paper on post war policy [sent with CHAR 20/95B/156] marked "A" stating: that our objective should be to preserve the integrity of the British Empire and to obtain the highest possible standard of living for its people; that to achieve this there must be security and freedom from a fear of aggression and an expansive world economy; that security could only be assured through international co-operation which would be best served by an international authority supported by an adequate force and that a body representative of the United Nations should be immediately set up to consider social and economic post war problems.
