Year date was initially inferred as 1913-1919 (the letter refers to the Omega workshops). In December 2021 it was determined by Christopher Lu to be 1917, on the basis of an article by Binyon entitled 'Method and Mood' published in the 'New Statesman' 10 November 1917, to which REF responded to Binyon in a letter dated 14 November 1917, and to which this letter from Binyon to REF appears to be in response. The letter from REF to Binyon is held at the British Library as Loan MS 103/4/2.
