Biographical / Historical
Synoptics Limited was founded in 1985 in Cambridge, to exploit research on digital image processing carried out in Cambridge University Engineering Department and the University High Resolution Microscope Section. In 1992 Synoptics acquired the image analysis business of Ai Cambridge.
