Biographical / Historical

The New Cambridge Research Company is a subsidiary company of the Newmarket Group, with one third owned by King's College. The company was formed to concentrate on early stage, small scale companies who had technically based ideas and inventions to develop.

The Newmarket Group is a venture capital group from the United States of America. Its roots go back to 1972. Its other companies include Newhaven, Newmarket Company and Newmarket Venture Capital. Newmarket and Newhaven were based in Bermuda and Newmarket Venture Capital and New Cambridge Research were based in the UK.
