- annotated Congregation agendas, 1861-67;
- drafts of letters from the College to the Visitor, copies of his replies, letters and manuscript notes from Provost Okes to Whitting, and a letter from Law to Brocklebank about Thomas Bendyshe's complaint and Fellows' dividends, 1869-71;
- Council and Governing Body papers and reports mostly concerning new statutes and Scholarships, including 'Reasons for Protesting against the final clause of recommendation VIII.3' by R A F Barrett, printed letters to and from the University Commissioners, 'Remarks on a Statement Relative to Financial Matters in King's College, Cambridge, 1860' by John Halsey Law, manuscript note 'Reasons for Opening the College', 1857-67 and 1895;
- 'Sequelae, or the Results of an Examination', poems by H M B, 1898 with autograph manuscript letter to Whitting from H[enry] Montagu Butler;
