Scope and Contents
Letters from the artist John Collier, subscribers to the portrait fund, and A Austen Leigh himself, concerning Provost Augustus Austen Leigh's portrait, and letters from the Fine Arts Society and the University Press about reproductions of it. A list of subscribers and the fund accounts are included. A bill from Richard Turley, gilder, for fetching the portrait as well as for providing a frame for a Sir Joshua Reynolds portrait is included.
