Scope and Contents
Comprises:
- letters concerning College matters from Richard Okes, 1871-78, one enclosing a letter from J E Nixon to Okes (1874) and one enclosing a copy of a letter from the Visitor to Okes (1876);
- letters from Richard Okes, Philip Vernon Smith and Samuel Peed, together with manuscript notes, about an 1872 charge made against Thomas Bendyshe;
- an 1898 cover letter from Francis Ware-Cornish returning to Whitting letters from William Johnson (later Cory) addressed to Brocklebank and to Whitting, written 1859-89. Some of these are addressed to Whitting as VP and some concern Bursarial matters;
- letters to Whitting from W Howlett? (1883), Percival Brine (1883), on Bursarial matters.
