Biographical / Historical
The Bursars of St John's, Trinity, King's and Gonville and Caius drew up a draft for the possible formation of a new graduate college in 1962. King's College later withdrew from the process but the other Colleges proceeded and in 1965 Darwin College opened. See 'A Concise History of the University of Cambridge' by Elisabeth Leedham-Green (1996) page 205 for further information.
