1963-4, 1963 - 1964
Scope and Contents
This series comprises twenty diaries, all but one containing brief, scribbled, often virtually illegible notes. Among the notes are appointments for lunch and dinner engagements, lectures, seminars and supervisions, but there is seldom any record of Joan Robinson's visits abroad in these volumes other than the note of her departure and arrival dates.
The first nineteen items are all standard Cambridge Pocket Diaries, published by the Cambridge University Press, and cover the academic (not calendar) year. The last item is entirely without entry by Joan Robinson.
