Unsorted holiday photographs from Black Albums, 1925 - 1932
Scope and Contents
A file of original prints and negatives removed from the black albums by Milo Keynes and left unsorted. All appear to date from c1925-32, and include Keynes and Lydia abroad (one photo jacket says 'Mr Keynes, Studland') and at Tilton with friends. Identifiable guests include John Tressider Sheppard, Vanessa Bell, Richard Kahn, WJH 'Sebastian' Sprott, Piero Sraffa and Denis Robertson. Images include two of Lydia petting a dog, Maynard in a round hat leaning against an archway, Lydia perched on a low seat with 'Richard Kahn at Tilton 1927', Lydia holding some flowers and standing with Maynard and two other men 'outside the ladies' lavatory at St Toulon[?]', and a ress photo by Jerome Miller.
This file includes many duplicates of black album photographs catalogued elsewhere in JMK/PP/94. (Sleeves 289-298)
