Choir photographs, 1982 - 1995
Scope and Contents
5 approximately 8” x 10” black and white prints which could not be matched to the above contact sheets. They seem to have been taken all at the same ‘shoot’, labelled ‘1/3’ and ‘1/7’ (the choir in 2 rows along the north wall of the east end), ‘1/17’ (the choir in 2 rows in front of the Rubens), ‘2/3’ and ‘2/5’ (which is also marked ‘KC/5’) (the choir in a double-V in the aisle, with the organ behind). The choir are wearing cassocks and surplices.
Another approximately 8” x 10” black and white print, apparently taken at the same time, is filed here, showing the choir wearing cassocks and surplices standing in the stalls singing, with Stephen Cleobury conducting from the centre of the aisle with his back to the camera, annotated ‘1989’.
