Custodial History
These letters were donated to the Classics Faculty Library by Bertrand Hallward's daughter, Christabel L. J. Sworder, in May 2001. Mrs Sworder also included in her gift a transcription she undertook, together with Ruth Chadwick, of the correspondence and copies of maps supplied by the Map Room of the University Library of the University of Cambridge.
