View over the tile roofs of Charvati, from Aristoteles' veranda, looking towards Mt Hagios Elias. Aristoteles Tsitsekos was the local guardian of antiquities; two rooms of his house were rented by the British archaeological team to serve as store and work rooms.
Boëthius wrote on v. in pencil, 'June 1921 - From Aristoteles veranda'.
