Copy of Leak’s original notebook detailing his travels in Sicily in 1807-1808, copied by Mr Hamilton [William Richard Hamilton 1777-1859?] (p. 204) in 1839 (dated p. 232).br/> Leake made autograph revisions in graphite pencil with additional topographical plans and copies of inscriptions. br/>

Presumably, this process of revision was with the aim of publishing the journal for Sicily but that never happened during Leake's lifetime nor since.
