Note by Charles Humfrey, architect, on the state of repair in which the Cambridge Philosophical Society left 'Mr Smith's house' [presumably the rented rooms in Sidney Street which the Society occupied from 1820 until 1833]. He recommends that 'the Society should pay Mr Smith £5'.
