This section comprises notebooks compiled by Needham on various trips to China and other East Asian countries from 1958 onwards, as well as many annotated leaflets, maps and postcards from the places he visited. On many occasions throughout his subject research files [SCC2] Needham provides a cross reference to an entry in one of these notebooks.
