Scope and Contents

This is a product of the Shanghai branch of a well-known shop based in Hangzhou, Xiling Seal Club (上海)西泠印社. The ink container is held in a box covered in green and white patterned fabric. The lid has a painted picture of a hen standing near two yellow chicks and a tall flower with yellow petals. The base has a Qianlong era 乾隆 seal of manufacture in the centre. The box contains a plastic ink spatula, a certificate of authenticity, and an information leaflet written in Chinese.
