Scope and Contents

Shaoshan is the birthplace of Chairman Mao Tse-tung (Mao Zedong 毛泽东). The badge has a gold rim, at the top a gold star against a white background, in the centre a depiction of the house (韶山冲毛泽东同志故居) in gold, and at the bottom the characters for Shaoshan against a red background.
