Scope and Contents
Two of the articles are by Willetts and are entitled 'Superb Chinese Buddhist Sculptures from Newly Revealed Cave Shrines in North-West China', and 'Murals and Sculptures: Newly Revealed Chinese Buddhist Treasures from Mai-Chi Shan..'. The articles were published in 'The London Illustrated News', 6 and 13 February 1954 respectively. The third article, published in the same publication is by R. D. Barnett and entitled 'The World's Oldest Persian Carpet, Preserved for 2400 Years in Perpetual Ice in Central Siberia', 11 July 1953.
