Photographs of personnel, products and activities of the Scientific Apparatus Supply Service factory, Supochiao (Supoqiao) 囌坡橋, Chengtu (Chengdu) 成都市, set up by the Szechwan Provincial Bureau of Scientific Instruments. Dr. Needham acquired them in two groups. Nos. 1-16 are loose, individual photographs, while nos. 17-28 are pasted onto a board with brief descriptions and a longer piece about the Szechwan Provincial Bureau of Scientific Instruments. Dr. Needham visited the factory between 3rd and 14th May, 1943.
