Porcelain figurine of Sun Simiao 孫思邈, 1980-1984?
Scope and Contents
This is a porcelain figurine of Sun Simiao 孫思邈 (died AD 682) on a dark green stand with the words 孫思邈 written in gold on the stand. The figurine can be removed from the stand. The figurine is mainly white with minimal colouring of the clothing and seat. Signed 李約瑟博士存 ('for Dr. Joseph Needham') and dated by Ma Boying 馬伯英 Aug. 1984.
