This file contains a letter from John T. Wilson (Office of the President of the University of Chicago) dated 26 Aug. 1977, an Order of Excercises for the conferring of degrees, a booklet listing honorary degrees granted 1891-1971 and a black and white photograph of Joseph Needham wearing his academic gown standing with two men also wearing academic gowns and the printed text of the presentation statement by Tsuen-Hsuin Tsien. Joseph Needham's certificate is held in a brown folder.
